Episode 12

Dominic did a right had side swipe with his dagger toward the demon. The demon deflected Dominic's attack upward having Dominic right hand in the air. The demon then launched himself toward him with his daggers aiming at Dominic chest. Dominic stomped his right foot into the ground. A ice barrier the same size as Dominic appeared in front of him. The demon halted his movement. "So it seems you learned something new.” "I had to. You left me open.” "But it's not strong enough to stop me.” The demon cut down the barrier with his left dagger. The barrier shattered into pieces. The demon went through the shattered barrier and swiped his right dagger to Dominic throat. Dominic leaned his throat back when the demon attack almost connected. After dodging the attack Dominic jumped back some. Dominic put his left dagger in his right hand and formed a claw with it. While he was concentrating his spirit energy, the demon disappeared. Dominic ducked all of a sudden. The demon flew past Dominic coming from his left. The demon stopped his movement after ten feet. He turned and faced Dominic.

"You're so predictable. How do you expect becoming a better fighter if you basically let your opponent know what attack you're going to do.” Dominic wiped his forehead from sweat. He ran toward the demon. "You still come after being told you're predictable.” When Dominic was in striking range he swung his right dagger as hard as he could. The demon prepared to deflect the attack until Dominic Revolt Step. The demon begin to wonder his eyes around the area. The he spun around and kicked Dominic in the jaw while spinning. Dominic whole body begin to spin around after the demon kick connected to his face. After a while his body hit the ground hard. He tried to push himself up until the demon kicked him in the jaw. Dominic's body begin to roll thirty feet until he stopped the momentum. Dominic got on his hands and knees and then he held his head up. The demon pointed his dagger in his face.

"Stay down boy. You don't have what it takes to be a great fighter.” "Screw you demon. I won't lose to you. I won't let you control my body.” "Whoever said I wanted to control that worthless body of yours.” Dominic eyes grew wide. "Then why did your spiritual aura engulf mines?” "I have no reason to tell you. You won't understand.” "You will tell me. Even if I have to force you.” "Let's make a deal.” The demon waved a piece of his hair away from his eyes. "If you're able to land a strike upon me I will tell you my reason.” "That sounds fair. I accept.” The demon Revolt Step behind Dominic. He swung his left dagger horizontally to Dominic skull. Dominic quickly turned around and blocked the attack with both daggers. The force of the demon strike lifted Dominic up int o the air. The demon raised his right hand upward. A ice spike came from out the ground and headed to Dominic to impale him. When the tip was about to reach him, Dominic smacked his left dagger to the side of the ice spike. He used the force to push him out the way.

Dominic landed on the ground to only have to raise his daggers to his face. He blocked a attack that the demon was aiming toward his face. Dominic kicked his right feet onto the ground. A ice barrier begin to come from under the ground. The demon jumped back forty feet. The ice barrier was seven feet in height and width. The demon begin to run toward him with his right dagger arch to the left side of his face. But a ice spike pierce through the barrier and headed toward the demon at a speed close to Revolt Step. The demon jumped over the attack. While the demon was jumping over the attack he looked up. Dominic was coming down fast. The demon manage to turn his body around while still in the air to face Dominic. Dominic swung his right dagger toward the demon with all his strength. The demon raised his right dagger up to block the attack. Dominic attack collided with the demons dagger. The force of the attack pushed the demon into the ground.

Dominic landed five feet from his head. He jumped back a couple of feet. When he landed he caught a right hook from the demon. He was lifted off the ground and went backwards. While falling he swung his hands and a ice spike headed toward the demon head. The demon moved his head to the left to avoid it. But when the ice spike went past it left a small scar on the demon face. Dominic landed on his back, but he quickly got up. Dominic prepared to charge to the demon. But the demon held his hand out toward him. "That's enough. You manage to strike me.” "That was just a little nip. I can do better.” "You still manage to strike me. Now I must keep my word.” The demon put his hand down. "The only reason why I surface was to protect you.” Dominic looked at the demon confused. "A demon wants to help me.” "The only reason I exist is because of your existence. I'm here to protect you at all cost. And I will do anything to do it.”

"So what you saying is that you're my guardian.” "You can put it as that. The whole tie we was fighting I never had any intention to kill you.” "You sure did fool me.” "Your enemies won't be soft on you when it comes down to life and death. So you have to be ready.” "I kinda understand now. You was just training me the whole time. You was trying to teach me my style of fighting was to predictable.” "That was just a part of it. Did you notice you been using more Shido techniques.” Dominic begin to think about the past fight. "You know my name but I don't know yours.” "My name is Renzal.” "I'm going to come back and train with you again.” Dominic body disappeared from that world. He opened his eyes. He realize that he was back in the regular world. He saw that Ilux was sitting in front of him.

"It seemed you had one hell of a fight with your inner demon.” "Yeah, I did.” "Did you learn anything new?” "Yeah, I learned the flaws of my fighting style and how to control my spiritual pressure more.” "That's good.” Ilux gave Dominic a serious look. "Cause you're going to need it.” "Why did you say that?” "Our clan is sending out one of their best soldiers to carry out your sentence.” "What you talking about?” "You been trial because of your diluted blood. The higher ups don't want a unpure in our ranks. So the best way to solve it is your execution.” Dominic eyes grew wide. He also begin to show signs of fear. "Can they really do that?
