Ralph pulled ahead of Matt and sunk his sword in the ground still dashing forward towards Meta. The ground behind him began to burst into flames as he slid towards Meta who stood there motionless. Meta eventually raised his left hand that began glowing a light blue. It began to chill as it formed 6 Ice pillars the size of a small missile. Meta thrusts his hand forward sending the blades at Ralph who was coming directly at them. Erik snapped out of his shock and drove both his hands into the ground raising an earth wall in front of Ralph where the blades sunk in it deeply but was otherwise stopped. Ralph burst through the wall while Matt hopped back and forth going forward through the shards that was launched with them both now within range of Meta. Ralph dashed past Meta and around him causing a fiery circle to engulf him while Matt came down fast with a charged up chi punch. He came down hard on Meta with a loud crashing sound being echoed throughout the land. Meta sneered at Matt while he had stopped just a few inches in front of his face. Matt gasped, finally noticing what stopped his punch. A ethereal shield can be seen between the two of them. Matt could now see with his naked eye a distortion in the area between his fist and Meta’s face. The air around Matt, Ralph, and Meta grew thick and around Meta was a swirl that they both noticed. "He casts the spell already?!” Matt said trying to back flip his way off. A tornado erupted violently around Meta sucking up the flame and taking on it’s properties all while throwing Matt and Ralph in opposite directions. Zen and Lianna decided to use some tactical approach while rushing him while Erik grabbed Matt using a hand made from the ground. He lowered Matt to the ground and made another platform of Earth picking up Zen to make him a bit more mobile.
Lianna watched as Zen was picked up noticing herself was being lifted into the air. She looked down and was running on a winding catwalk that was giving her a path to Meta all the while attacking him at the same time. Meta pushed the tornado towards Erik while Zen got into a position up high behind Meta. He took aim and began firing rapidly alternating between his dual pistols. The shots echoed loudly throughout the sky firing thick bullets at Meta. The shots ricocheted off of Meta’s shield causing him to turn around to see who was behind him. When he did Zen charged up his guns and shot one big round from both of them. The bullet came out looking similar to a ball of electricity that traveled quickly. Meta gritted his teeth and turned his attention to Zen putting more focus on his front shield to prevent the attack of Meta’s from breaking through. The attack collided in a spectacular display of lights causing the area to glow white and blue rapidly as Meta tried to find the attack off.
The tornado raged on past Lianna’s attacking path and continued on towards Erik. "Damn…” Erik muttered to himself. He’s focusing on too much to worry about a attack on himself right now. The attack continued on towards Erik while he made sure his attack would hit and Lianna could follow up. The heat from the tornado could be felt as it got just to him before it stopped a bit. He looked on surprised as Matt, hands glowing stopped the tornado. "How long can you keep that up?” Erik asked. "Uhh…about a minute…!” Matt yelled back. "I can’t move around as much, it’ll throw my focus off a bit.” Matt nodded and reared back with one hand and punched the ground as hard as he could attempting to disrupt the tornado with his own chi. The flaming tornado eventually eased up and completely withered away giving Matt a chance to breath. Matt knelt down holding his hand he used to hold off the tornado. It was seared and charred a little bit but otherwise he seemed to be fine. "Thanks…” Erik said focusing on his attacks ahead. Matt waved his hand to him. "It’s no prob. It was this or you’ll be eating it.” He chuckled a bit rushing back into the fray.
Meta deflected the shot back at Zen hitting his platform and breaking it knocking Zen into the sky. Meta took a breather for a second before being knocked down to the ground by a large cylindrical rock. Lianna landing off of the rock charged Meta with a downward slash that could be heard cutting the air. The attack was stopped by a last minute barrier Meta put up to protect himself but wasn’t strong enough to completely nullify it. The attack still came through but Meta enough time to roll out of the way while her attack slammed into the ground with enough power to cause a mini crater. She turned her head to him and dashed quickly to her left to follow up with a melee attack from her shield. She thrusts her shield towards him bashing him with all her physical strength and knocking him back lifting him off the ground as she did so. Matt smirked getting into position to Meta who was in the sky jumping up and grabbing him then coming down as hard as he could slamming Meta into the ground with all his power. The resulting slam crashed through a bit of the earth leaving a crippled looking Meta in the center of the crater. Matt grabbed his throat and reared back another punch intent on ending it now. He came down with a punch stopped when the crater began glowing weirdly. It was a orange glow and it filled the entire area with this tint. Everyone was wondering what was going on before Erik finally realized it. "Matt! Move!” Matt looked at Erik but before he had a chance to do anything else the entire vicinity erupted in an explosion engulfing him in a violently cloud of fire, smoke, and rock shards.
The resulting explosion threw Lianna to the ground and slid her back some feet. She was stopped by Zen who held on to her looking in awe at the explosion. Ralph stood on the side dumbfounded at the sheer power as well. "H-he never had a chance to move…” Erik felt a sudden rush of anger coming from within. An attack that devastating, surely would have killed Matt. The attack was even at point blank range. Erik continued to look at the explosion not sure if what he had saw had actually just happened. "Unbelievable” Zen muttered as he clinched Lianna closer who also held on to him. Meta emerged from the crater virtually unscathed as if Matt’s attacks never hurt him really let alone the explosion. He brushed himself off and stood face to face with Erik who was staring him down. "There doesn’t need to be anymore senseless fighting. Simply hand her over.” Meta said calmly. Erik wasn’t able to think at the time and just wanted this person to disappear from the earth at this point. He looked on in hatred again driving his hands into the ground and closing his eyes concentrating. Meta looked on, observing what his opponent was doing. "The hell is Erik planning?” Ralph said. He wanted to help him right now, but not exactly sure how. Meta could stop just about anything he could do. And it was obvious now they are dealing with an Azral. The Azral’s were once allies of the Kingdom of Dreams, and this one looks centuries old. Ralph figured he might have been around during the Chosen War.
The ground began shaking violently in the area they were all in. Everyone was surprised at the sudden earthquake, even Meta. "What…!?” Meta was not sure what to think off but knew Erik was planning something big. Erik opened his eyes and began glowing a purple tint, his face growing veins and developing tribal marks along it. The shaking grew more violent as a giant hand came up from the ground and slammed down. Another hand a few seconds slammed the ground right after the first one. Meta eyes grew large as he watched a giant Golem pull itself up from the ground and roar causing the area to shake even more and echo through most of the world. "You were able to perform this!?” Meta couldn’t believe what he saw. It had been ages since he saw it. The golem finished lifting itself from the ground by stepping up from the hole it created to get here. It stood tall, at least 40 ft high looking down on Meta and overshadowing him. Everyone was surprised at what they saw. "What is that!?” Lianna asked. Even Ralph was gasping at what he saw. Meta was not sure what to do. He hadn’t figured Erik was able to do this and definitely didn’t know he could do it this fast. "Dnaleri’s Guardian Spirit” Meta uttered. "You’ve mastered it. But how!? This is the fastest I’ve seen it summoned. Faster than your own father.” Erik began to reflect on his time spent being inside of his village all day every day. When there was no trouble to be had around the world. He would spend his days in his house, rummaging thorough his father’s things. Upon his things he had found this scroll. The family’s guardian spirit which he spent every day at his village reading, practicing, and finally mastering. Erik continued to look at Meta with anger while the golem did so in cold eyes. "Your final days will be told here” Erik muttered. "Last of an ancient race or not. I’m going to kill you!”. Unless Meta can think quick he was probably right. The golem reared back to throw a punch which with minimum effort would be enough to kill Meta in one hit, probably smearing him across the plains. "He didn’t tell me I had to deal with a Wiley. I wasn’t prepared for that…” Meta began to think of his next move.
Coming out of the city limits TJ noticed a eclipse in the moon. He shook his head and made his step a bit faster. "They’ve already started I’m sure of it now. I’ve got to hurry!” TJ ran on through the limits and continued on through the plains. The closer he got to the battle zone, the more he felt anxiety from the coming battle. "I can only hope things are going well, and that promise I made to Yuriko. I might have to break it, if it gets worse.”
