WELCOME TO THE DREAMS UNIVERSE

Episode 1: The Normal Day That Started It All

EPISODE 1

The silence in the room was broken by a loud ringing sound coming from within the room. TJ, who was lying inside his king side bed was reaching around the desk that lie close to his bed. With some effort he found the phone that continued to ring and picked it up leaning up from his bed to put the phone to his ear. Half sleep and clearly not knowing where he was at the minute, he began to speak groggily. "H-hello?”. "Hello? TJ? Are you up yet?”. On the other end was a male which TJ took no time in realizing was his cousin. He rubbed his eyes a little bit and started to speak again a bit more woke now. "What do you want Tierre?”. "You sound like you’re just getting up? You know how late it is? It’s 2:00 p.m.”. TJ sighed a bit. "I don’t need you to lecture me you know. I was just getting up anyway. Like I asked what’s up?”. "Oh yes, I need your help with something, so if you don’t mind could you get over here?”. "I suppose so”. TJ said sounding baffled. "I’ll get there as soon as I can.”. "Good, just use the front entrance when you get to the manufacturing building.”. After the last sentence TJ heard a click and then silence. He stared at the phone a bit then put back down on the hook and glanced up at his room. The room was small and a mess as always. The carpet was littered with random cords going every which way, all plugged into various outlets. Each one of them powered up something in his room and it’s a wonder how he or anyone hasn’t been shocked when messing around with plugs in the room. He yawned and stepped out of the bed, only having his jeans on. He stood up and opened the door and stepped into the small hallway of his house.

"Good Morning TJ!”. A sharp voice pierced through his mind and woke him up even more than he was before. He shook his head a bit and looked up and standing before him was a young girl, about 4’9” wearing a bright blue dress that split in the middle. Underneath that dress that you can see in the middle section was a really small skirt. He scratched his head after looking at the pink haired little girl and then began to speak. "Good morning Yuriko, you seem to be doing well.”. The girl name was Yuriko, and she was an orphan at a nearby orphanage in Ruthan City. TJ adopted her noticing how she seemed to have no one to be or play with. She was a shy girl and TJ thought she’d be easy to deal with but about a week later she turned into a very happy and bubbly teenage girl now complete with friends. Yuriko nodded and smiled very brightly. "Yes I am, but you’re just getting up? Are you okay? It looks like that chosen job of yours is taken its toll. You gotta be more careful out there.”. She sounded generally worried for his well being. "It’s no worry Yuriko, I’m okay really.”. He walked up to her and placed his hand on her head. He walked pass her and into the bathroom shutting the door with the sound of the shower being the only thing heard from Yuriko’s point of view. She frowned a little and began whispering to herself. "Chosen or not TJ…don’t push yourself too hard. I don’t…want to lose my adoptive father..”. She continued looking on for a bit before eventually turning around and walking up the hall and opening the door on her right, entering her room.

TJ opened the bathroom door fully dressed after using the spare clothes inside the bathroom dressing room he had bought not to long ago. He stopped at the mirror to take a look at himself. He sighed moving his hand through his light black hair and moving the blue vest around himself a bit more. After a bit of rearranging he smiled with a bright and satisfying nod and left out the bathroom. Before going on the front door from the living room he turned his head and yelled out to Yuriko. "Hey Yuriko! I’ll be back after a bit okay!”. A light voice came back from the other room in the back where the hall was. "Okay TJ, please be careful out there!”. He walked out the front door closing it with a thud and looked up too the city he was in. As usual the city was bustling with life. Cars were going up and down the street with civilians going on their merry way to work or other destinations. He started walking down the stairs and onto the sidewalk up the street slightly blending in with the crowd he was with. Since most of the crowd were in business suits, he didn’t exactly blend well with a bright blue outfit and black combat boots. Walking up main street and making that right continuing on TJ ran into a big brick building that seemed to span the entire block. As a matter of fact, the entire building was the block. "Is it me or did his workshop get a whole hell of a lot bigger?”. TJ began thinking to himself. "Oh well…he said the front door right?”. He examined the large metal door in front of him noticing a small white button that appeared to be the door bell. he pressed the button and a loud chime could be heard surfacing through the building for a bit and then ended in a few seconds of silence. Some mechanical work could be heard around the building causing TJ to look around but before he could react the floor below him opened up and he began to fall into what appear to be a large laundry chute.

The chute winded back and forth with vicious turns and the speed at which he fell was exceeding over 70 MPH quickly. He began reaching for his sword but to no avail couldn’t find it. He frantically searched himself and made a frown beginning to think for a bit. An image of his room with the sword still hanging up on the mantle beside the door came to thought and he cursed himself. "…God damn it…”. He looked down and can see a light at the bottom which meant to him he was about to hurt himself pretty bad. "Oh well…it can’t hurt that bad right?”. He braced himself for the pain after passing through the white light. As he passed through the light he never felt any pain. In fact he was never harmed at all or at least he didn’t feel it. He continued to think about it until he finally took a look around within where he fell and noticed he had landed on some sort of cushion. After realizing this he became immediately angry, not at himself but at his cousin for using such a dirty trick. "How’d you like the ride cousin?”. TJ heard a voice coming from the above him.  He looked up from the factory floor he had landed at and saw his cousin Tierre sporting the stereotypical scientist look. TJ shot him a clear dirty look while getting up and dusting himself off. "What the hell was up with the chute!?”. Tierre began to turned disappointed a bit. "You didn’t like it? You used to like rides like that when you were young?.” Tierre answered. "Well I ain’t young anymore, I’m 20 years old now. You nearly scared me half to death”. TJ folded his arms and continued to stare at him, easing up on the glare though. "But seriously though, what did you want to talk about”. Tierre held up on finger as if to say one sec as he turned away and began walking down the catwalk path he was on.

TJ shrugged and began walking around the factory floor while waiting on his cousins arrival. He noticed various hallways and catwalks interlocked with elevators of different types. He’s not exactly sure what floor this is but he assumes this is the basement and if this basement was this huge. He began to ponder what the rest looked like. Various factory machines were at work, making parts for what appeared to be weapons, armors, vehicles, and other daily life things. "Is he running a business here” TJ began to think. The factory was rather loud, with sounds of things being pierced, blow torched, and blown up to name a few. He turned around looking to the left of where he fell into the room at and noticed a big black door there with various keypads to the right of it. He walked towards it, his footsteps barely being able to be heard over  the machinery. He continued to examine the door as if he was going to be able to look through it or something. Turning to the keypad, he noticed that there were a lot more keys on it then normal. Instead of just going to 0-9 like most keypads, this one also had symbols. Not just the "*” and the "#” symbols but the percent signs and everything. TJ began getting confused as to why he would even make something this complicated. "It’s for added protection”. TJ turned his head and Tierre was beside him smiling away. "From what”. Oddly TJ found that a dumb question to ask. "Competition, those who want my secrets…that sort of thing”. TJ couldn’t believe that answer. A place this big needs one door to have that complicated keypad. The whole place is probably rigged with lasers and booby traps and crap. He began to fade out of reality and into a dream as he let his imagination wander. A goofy smile surfaced on his face as he began to chuckle a bit. "What’s so funny”. The question snapped TJ out of his dream while he looked at Tierre who was looking confused but interested in what he was thinking. "Ah…it…was nothing. Anyway what was up”. The confused look on Tierre face turned into a smile. "Ah yes come with me for a bit”. He began to walk pass the big black door to the right into one of the halls. TJ followed along looking at all the work the machines were performing trying not to get to distracted. They finally came into a room that had a lot of monitors around it. "What’s up with all the small monitors”. Tierre sat down in a black chair that was in front of the monitors and turned to him. "After some years of asking I was able to get surveillance cameras in the city to help you monitor for activity. Their placed in all of the major districts of town”. TJ thought to himself that this was a good idea. If he could have Tierre monitor the city for him or at least help. He could have eyes around most of the area and be there before the bad things happened. "Good job, this’ll help ou-” Before TJ could finish he and Tierre turned to what appeared to be the shopping district with something huge running back and forth. Whatever it is it’s too big for even the camera to view clearly. "Umm” Tierre managed to utter out before turning around but TJ was already out the door. "Take the main elevator to get to the top!” Tierre yelled out to his cousin before he was no longer visible to him. He sighed and turned back to the monitor. "And do be careful…”
