Episode 2

Loredana woke up. She had stood up and looked around. She realized she was in a strange bed and in a strange room. She looked at her right arm. It was wrapped around a white arm cast that was tied around her neck. "So that incident really happened. But where am I?” She hard the door open. She stared at the door. She saw Dominic walk inside. He walked beside her. "Are you okay?” "Yeah, I'm fine.” "Good, now come on.” "What you mean come on?” "I made breakfast.” Dominic walked toward the door. Loredana got out the bed and begin to follow Dominic into the kitchen. She sat at a table that was in the center of the kitchen. Dominic put a plate in front of her. The plate had eggs, bacon, and toast. He sat at the opposite side of the table from her with his plate. They begin to eat. A minute went by with complete silence.

"What was that thing last night?” "Why you want to know?” "Forget it then.” "That thing was a demon.” "A demon.....you actually thing I'll believe that.” "You saw it with your eyes.” "If it was a demon how it got here. Shouldn't it be in Hell.” "Demons don't live in a place us people really take as hell. While it isn't a fiery prison for all eternity.....it's in a boundary of Earth where it's in complete darkness. It's in a boundary where no existence of life can't reach it. Or you can say its in this planets shadow.” "Okay, but how do they enter our world?” "Some demons can create portals to enter this world.” "So why haven't I saw any before now?” "Most people can't see them cause they don't have any kind of spiritual pressure. But you're different. You just refused to see them.”

"Yeah, right. I never had any kind of spiritual power until I met you.” "It's because you never noticed it. You never had a need to even notice it until last night.” "I just want to forget about last night. I guess it's over with. There's no need for me to worry about it anymore.” "You're wrong. Since you awaken your hidden power....these demons will come after you. Cause they feed off of human spiritual pressure. The stronger the spiritual pressure the better it taste to them.” "Oh great. Now I have to fight those demons now.” Dominic finish eating his food. He begin to look up at the ceiling while leaning backwards in his chair. "How am I suppose to fight them if I can't bring that weapon out anymore?” "Just focus your spiritual pressure into your hand and it will form into that weapon.” "Easier said than done.” Dominic stood up from his seat. He held his arms to his side. He formed a claw with his hands. He begin to concentrate to form the weapon.

"You're doing it wrong. You need to find the flow of your spiritual pressure in your body. When you do your spirit weapon will be formed.” Dominic begin to concentrate. After three minutes he formed his ice daggers. But he soon noticed that his cloths turned into the ones he wore last night. "Why did my cloths change?” "Those was the cloths you wore when you first acquired your Oni Natasho powers. Its like a reminder from your powers when you first achieved it.” "Sounds dumb to me.” Loredana finish eating her food. Dominic gather both of their plates up and put it into the sink. He begin to wash the dishes. "So what is this Oni Natasho?” "It's a ancient clan in this region of the continent. We concentrate on exterminating demons.” "So they're demon slayers.” "Yeah, you can say that.” "But you said we...so you're part of this clan.” "Yes, I am.” "Then why I never heard about this blood that course through my veins.”

"Maybe somewhere in your family history someone must have drifted from the clan. And they mated with a regular human. So you have diluted blood from our clan.” "Well, I don't want anything to do with these demons or this clan. So just stay out my way.” "Why are you trying to run from you bloodline heritage? You should be thrilled to know this.” "Be thrilled about having the same blood as demon slayers. No thank you. I'll stick with being a normal human. It's hard enough being that.” Dominic finish washing the dishes. "Look, your arm will need some time to heal. Cause all I did was snap it back in place. You can stay here until it gets better. But after that I want you gone.” "You don't have to worry. I want going back to the clan until I redeem myself.”

"Redeem yourself??? What do you mean?” "I was suppose to take on that demon alone. And bring its head back to the clan. So I can achieve my full demon slayer status. But since I became injured and been saved by someone with diluted blood I have to redeem my honor.” "Well, excuse me for helping. You don't need to worry about it. Cause like I said I don't want anything to do with demon slaying.” They looked at each other quietly. After a few seconds of being quiet Loredana broke the silence. "Dominic, I have one very important question to ask you?” "What is it?” "Do you have anything sweet to eat?” Dominic gave her a surprise look. He went into a jar beside the sink and took out a red tootsie roll pop. He threw it to Loredana. She caught it and quickly unwrapped it and put it in her mouth.

"So a demon slayer eats sweets?” "I love any kinds of sweets. I can eat sweet stuff all day.” "You're such a weirdo.” "Who you calling a weirdo?” "Don't worry about it.” Dominic walked to the front door. "You're going somewhere Dominic.” "Yeah, I have to go to work.” "Hold up.” Loredana quickly got up and went toward Dominic. "I have to go out and do something anyway.” "Yeah, sure. If you not back at four you're not getting in.” "Alright, I understand.” They walked out of the apartment. Dominic locked the door behind them. They begin to walk northeast. "Why are you following me?” "I want to see where you work before I head out. "Whatever.” They walked for ten minutes until the made it to a restaurant called Hardees. "This is it.” "What kind of place is this?” "It's a fast food restaurant.” "Really!!!” "Yeah, I'll bring something to eat when I get off.” "Okay, thanks.” Dominic headed inside of the restaurant. Loredana kept walking northeast. When Dominic walked in a white male with shoulder length brown hair, green eyes, and wore a Hardees uniform came to him. "Is that your new girlfriend Dominic.” "Nope, just some girl I met.” "Yeah, that's what you always say.” "And it's the truth.” "Hey, I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying spread the love sometime.” "Go out there and get at her then. It'll be one less problem I have to deal with. "Hey, what you mean by that?” "Dominic clocked in and begin to work.
