Episode 2

  Madison stared at Dominic and Seth while they was sleeping. She begins to get irritated. "Why the hell these two lazy bums just sleeping their life away.” she went and punched Seth in his ribs and went and punched Dominic in his jaw. They both woke up. Seth sat up and begins to rub his ribs. Dominic still had a drowsy look on his face. "It's about time you both woke up. You'll been sleep for three hours now.” "What do you mean you both?” Seth looked to his right. He saw Dominic still with the drowsy look. "Who is he?” "His name is Dominic. He's the one that saved us and healed your wounds.” Seth looked at his chest. He saw that his wound closed up and healed. "How was he able to do that?” "Cause I'm a shnigami. I have the power to do that” said Dominic with authority. He stood up and faced Seth. "Isn't shinigami's Death Gods......why didn't you take my soul” asked Seth. "What you did to help this girl impressed me. So I decided to spare your life.” But Dominic gave a sigh. "But while I was healing you....your body took some of my spiritual power.” "What's going to happen to me?” "Nothing, you just have a small portion of Shinigami powers. That's why I knew you'll be able to see me.”

"Enough of this. Shinigami, I have some questions for you. And you said you'll answer them.” "I remember saying that. Now what do you want to know.” "You said that man that attacked us was a Mako. What is a Mako?” "A Mako is a human possessed by the demons of the dead. They are forever bond to their demon masters. With no hope ever to regain their human self.” "So you're telling demons roam the planet.” "The low level demons roam the planet. The higher level demons needs a lot of spiritual pressure fro followers to enter the world of the humans.” "So the demons have their the own world. So do shinigmai's” asked Seth. "Not exactly. On this planet lies three boundaries. One is the land of the dead where demons and other creatures dwell to be punish. This is the human equivalent of what you call HELL. Then its this boundary. This is where you normal humans and creatures live. What humans and creatures do in this boundary decide whether they got to the Hell boundary or the spirit boundary. That's why we call this the limbo boundary. Then last it's the spirit boundary. The boundary where just people and creatures go to become free all pain and agony. That is what you humans call heaven.”

"So a heaven and hell do exist” said Madison. "What determines which boundary we go to when we die?” "It's up to use shinigami to decide. We look into the memories of the person to determine where they should go.” "How do you peek into someone's memories” asked Madison. Dominic unseheated his katana. He saw a bird fly inside and landed on the table. Dominic quickly slash the bird. Soon swirls of film like energy swirled around the bird. The film like energy showed the bird's memories. Dominic stabbed the bird and turned his katana to the right. He pulled the katana out of the bird. The film like energy disperse. Soon the bird came back to life and it flew away. "That was amazing” said Seth. "Wow, they being who dies really do see their life flash before their eyes” said Madison. "Anything you want to ask?” "Yeah, that Mako said I was the Loki....what is that?” "It's a legend. But it says that the Loki is a being that can break the seal of the boundaries. And when the seal of the boundaries breaks......all boundaries will become one. And when all three boundaries become one it's meant to destroy everything in the boundaries.” "So basically I'm the cause of Armageddon.”

"I don't believe the legend. But we shouldn't take the chance. That's why I wanted to kill you. But my master saved you. But remember the longer you live.....there's a chance Armageddon will happen. And before that happen I will kill you.” Madison gave a big gulp. "If you do try to kill her....I will kill you” said Seth. Dominic walked in front of Seth. "You got guts kid. But just because you hold some of my spiritual energy that don't means you stand a chance against me.””So you think so.” Dominic disappeared from Seth sight. Seconds later he felt something sharp on his neck. He turned his head to his left. He saw Dominic point his katana to his neck. "You just teleport. How did you do that.” "I didn't teleport. I used a technique called Tento Ho. It means that we move so far fast that the human eye can't keep up. Every Shinigami and demon knows how to use this technique.” Dominic took his katana from Seth neck.

Seth stood beside Madison and faced Dominic. "Dominic, how do one becomes a shinigami” asked Madison. "First the person has to be a resident of the spirit boundary. So they already have to be dead. Then they have to qualify to attend the shinigami school. They have to excel in battle situations and be overall knowledgeable to different kinds of Maho. And before you ask Maho are techniques we use to capitalize in our element status. My element is ice. So I can use Ice Maho skills. After we qualify we go through intense training to become adept fighters. After our graduation we go out to this world to send souls to the spirit world or Hell. We also combat demons to protect the ones that live in this boundary.” "It's to much work to become a Shinigami” said Madison. "What about me? You gave me some of your Shinigami powers.” "I didn't give...you took it. And I don't know. We never had a report of this. You probably just be able to see my fellow shinigami soldiers.” "That's it. I don't get any cool powers.” "Why should you? You didn't earn to become a Shinigami.” "So how did you get that sword? And how do you get your element Maho” asked Seth. "The element Maho and weapon is apart of you. Once you gain your shinigami powers you unlock both. And you get them from your soul.”

"So your soul is still apart of you even in death” said Madison. "You can't destroy a soul by just death. To destroy a soul you must destroy the boundary where the soul resides. When that's done every being and soul in that boundary gets destroyed.” "I guess that answers all of my questions. Thanks for explaining everything. It makes things a little more clearer now.””I have another question. I guess you can volunteer to become a shinigami. Why did you become one?” "You're right becoming a shinigami one can volunteer.” Dominic tilted his head down and to the right. His fake became one of agony. "I have my reasons of becoming a shinigami. But it's none of your concern. And there's one thing you want to learn about us shinigami. Don't ask questions about something you don't want to know the answers about.” "But I want to know the answer” said Seth. "Even with a trace of my shinigami powers you still don't know. Then that's for the best.”

Dominic lifted his head back up high. "Is that all the questions you two need to ask.” "Yeah, that should be it.” "Good, cause I need to get onto my job.” "What is that? Gather more souls” said Seth. "No, my new mission is to protect this girl at all times.” "So you have to follow me to school. How about if someone sees you?” "You forgot what I told you. No normal human will be able to see me. Unless they have a slight trace of spiritual energy. But that is quite rare. So you don't have anything to worry about.” Seth headed to the door. "I'm going to head home.” "This early?” "Yeah....” Seth smiled at Madison. "I need to get ready for tomorrow.” "Tomorrow” said Madison confused. She begins to think hard about what happens tomorrow.

"We're suppose to go to the fair tomorrow.” "So you did remember. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow.” Seth opened the door and walked out. He closed the door behind him. Dominic looked at Madison. "What's a fair?” Madison gave him a look that mean are you serious. "You never heard of a fair.” "If I did I would've never ask.” Madison put her left hand on her face. She soon took it off. "A fair is where there is plenty of games and rides. It's basically a place where you can have fun.” "Sounds like something humans would like.” "Then what things do you like?” "I like to just relax and sleep.” "That's not something fun. That's just being lazy.” Dominic shrugged at her comment. "Call it what you like. I enjoy it.” Madison begins to look serious. "What you said about me being the Loki......is the demons going to keep coming after me?” "I guess so. They probably trying to destroy the barrier between the boundaries. I don't know why they want to do that. Since they'll be killed in the process. But we going to stop them.” Madison looked at him confused.

"What do you mean "we”?” Dominic gave her a smirk. "Did you really think I'm the only shishigami in this town?” "You mean there's others. How many more?” "I say about ten more shinigami's are in this town.” "Ten more.....why so many?” "It's no concern for a human. Just know that you're protected. No demon will be able to capture you. We're the best shinigami's.” She gave a smile. "That makes me feel better. I got a platoon of shinigami's to protect me. What do I have to fear?” "Yeah, whatever. We're not your bodyguards cause we want to. Remember that kid. We're doing this just in case we have to kill the Loki if the demons get you.”
