Episode 9

  "We each have to go to different points in the town. That way the city will be better protected” said Terence. "Yeah, that's the best thing to do now. But who'll watch the girl” asked Jarvis. "I'll protect Madison” said Seth. "You can't possible protect her. You just acquired your powers” said Clair. Seth summoned his weapon. "I can protect her. I know how to control my powers.” "But how well. We can't afford her to get taken” said Erik. Seth pointed his sword toward Erik. "I'll protect her. Don't you worry about her anymore.” Erik grabbed Seth's blade and held it down. "Don't ever point your weapon toward me. If you value your life kid.” "Let him protect the girl. We need to hold down the city” said Dominic. Erik let go of Seth's blade. "Dominic, if the girl gets taken you'll be held responsible with this boy” said Erik. Dominic shrugged. "Very well. Let's just hurry and get into position.” Everyone nodded. Everyone except for Seth Tento Ho around different parts of the city. Seth went to Madison. "I'll make sure nothing happens to you Madison.” Madison nodded. "You better not let anything happen to me.”

Terence summoned a two handed sword. He sliced through four demons. He quickly turned around and cut a demons head off. He looked around him. He saw demons leaped toward him. He slammed his sword onto the ground. A swirl of flames engulfed him. The flames disintegrated the demons into dust. He picked his sword from the ground and the flames dispersed. He looked toward the sky. He saw even more demons come from the portal. "How many more of these demons are coming? They want the girl that bad.” Terence flew up to the portal. He begins to slice through demons while heading to the portal. He begins to examine the portal. "It seems the low level demons are able to come through this portal. I could close it. But I'm going to need help.” A demon was about to stab Terence in the back. But then a invisible blast of energy pierce through its skull. Terence looked around to see who done it. Under him he saw Jarvis flying toward him. "You're late” said Terence. "You knew I was going to come in time. What you doing up here?” "I can close this portal. I just need someone to protect me while I'm trying to close it.” "I got your back.” Terence nodded his head. He faced the portal. A red swirl of spiritual energy surrounded him. He launched a beam of his spiritual energy toward the portal. His spiritual energy collided with the opening of the portal. The portal begins to slowly close. Jarvis swung his right fist as hard as he could. A shock wave came from the swing and pierced through ten demons in the abdomen. He then spun in a circle swinging his fist causing more shock waves that pierced through many demons. He went to a demon and punched its skull from its shoulders. "Hurry up Terence.” "I'm going as fast as I can. It's a weak portal but it has a tough seal on it.”

Dominic sliced a demon's head off. He then turned around and sliced the air. A blade of ice went came from the tip of his katana and pierced through five demons. He looked up in the sky. He saw that Terence was trying to close the portal. He saw Jarvis protecting him from the demons. "So he's closing the portal.” Dominic clinched his katana. "That must be a low level portal. So why they sending low level demons to come get the girl. They know we won't allow them to get her. There must be another reason why that portal was opened.” Dominic heart suddenly sunk. "This can't be. He can't show up now. Of all times to appear it had to be now. He must be the reason this is going on. It was just a distraction so he can slip by and get Madison. I have to find her. Seth alone won't be able to stop him.” Ten demons appeared before him. He held his katana to shoulder length and pulled it behind his shoulders as far as he could. He also bent his knees. A strong gust of icy wind surface. Ice shards appeared around Dominic. The ice shards went to the demons and pierced through the demons bodies until they died. Dominic stood up straight. "Seth, why did you have to be so far away. Hold on kid.....I'm on my way. I must not allow you to fight him alone.” Dominic begins to run southwest.

Erik slammed a demon's skull with his hammer. Clair threw four kunai's through a demon chest. Erik saw a demon jumped to him. He pointed two fingers up. A sharp spike came from the ground and pierced through the demon. Erik then noticed a large amount of spiritual energy gathering. Clair soon begins to sense the same thing. "Erik.....who can that be?” "It's Dominic. He's using one of his strongest attacks.” "He has this much spiritual energy.” "I knew he'll get stronger after that incident two years ago.....but he improved a lot.” "What happened two years ago?” "It's best if you don't know. But that incident consequences is about to unfold here. At this time I bet Dominic is thinking he wished he finished the job he started two years ago. But at the time I don't blame him. A lot had happened for him not to finish it.” "So you saying his past is catching up to him.” Erik nodded his head. "Not just him....everyone who participated in that incident. Our past mistakes are coming to haunt us. If something happens to the boundaries............it'll be our fault.” Clair eyes grew wide with fear. "Who participated in that incident.” Erik looked at her and shrugged. "It was me, Terence, Jarivs, Tousho, Yami, and Dominic.” Erik sensed Dominic was on the move. "He's leaving his spot. Something must have caught his attention.” Soon both of their hearts skip a beat. They sensed a tremendous spiritual pressure. "Okay, who's that spiritual pressure Erik. I never sensed that aura before?” "It's him. Let Dominic handle it. He must face his mistake of the past.”

Jarvis looked down back at the city. "Terence, did you sense that spiritual pressure?” "Yeah, it must be him. He finally surface after two years of seclusion.” "Do you think it was him that opened the portal?” "It probably was him. He is more capable of doing it.” "That means he must be after the girl. But why do he wants the girl?” "I don't know. But it won't be for something good.” "I have to go down there and confront him.” "No, I need your help here. I need you to protect me.” Jarvis clinched his fist. "Alright, but I hope that boy can protect her from him.” "I wouldn't worry about that. Dominic is on his way there.” Jarvis looked down at the city. He saw multiple forms of ice crystals going southwest. "He's giving those demons one hell of a fight. But he's wasting to much spiritual energy. What the hell is going on in his head?”

Dominic threw multiple ice spikes to the many demons in front of him. "Get out of my way you damn demons. I have to hurry and get to Seth and Madison. I need to get there faster. But these damn demons in my way.” Dominic begins to run faster and throwing ice spikes quicker at the demons. "I won't let him harm you two. I'm suppose to protect you kids. And I can't let him get the girl. What are you planning? Why are you doing all of this? Is it because of what happened two years ago? I know I'll have to confront him. I know we'll have to fight. But I have to do what I have to do. To make up for the mistakes of my past. And to save those kids. They're getting involved in a fight that doesn't concern them. Especially Seth. I can't let him get killed because of something I did. And I know he's going after him. He has my spiritual energy signature. It's like Seth is actually me to someone who doesn't know.” Dominic eyes grew wide. "I'm not going to make it in time. Seth just hold up for a little while. I'll be there as soon as I can. Just hold out.”

Seth split a demon in two by downward slicing it. He turned around. He held his blade down and behind him. He did a upward angle slash while the tip of his blade was streaking across the ground. After he swung a wave of black spiritual energy came from the ground and stretched thirty feet killed fifty demons. He rest the blunt part of his blade on his shoulders. "This isn't so hard. They was worried about this little invasion.” Madison smiled. "You seem to be enjoying yourself to much. Don't get cocky. You never know what might happen.” "Who could stop me? I'm just as strong as Dominic and wields one of the two most powerful elements. Who can stop me?” "Who the hell are you?” Seth looked to his right. He saw a male about six feet, with messy blonde hair, with dark green eyes. He wore deep blue, collarless short-sleeved dress shirt with a goldenrod trim, matching deep blue slacks and shiny black dress shoes. Seth faced the man. "I ask again just who the hell are you?” "The name is Seth. Why do you care?” "Then why do you have the same signature energy as that monster?” "That monster.” Seth looked at the man confused. "You know exactly who I'm talking about.” "No, I don't.” "You have the same signature energy as Dominic.” Seth then looked at the man surprised. "How do you know Dominic?” "So you have some connection to him. He must have gave you some of his spiritual pressure. Now why would a monster do that?” "He did it to save my life. He might act mean and cold but he isn't a monster.” "Such delusion kid. He's a monster.” The man looked at Madison. "You're the one I'm after. Come girl.” Madison shakes her head no. "I'm not going to let you take her.” Seth pointed his large sword to the man. "So you're willing to protect her. You have pride kid. But I'll have to kill you if you stand in my way. Especially since you have his spiritual energy.”
