Some years ago, a very powerful kingdom known as the Dreams Kingdom was well known for a certain family of fighters. These fighters born to this family each had a natural talent for combat and excelled at it like none other. However there was another reason the family was well known. It was the family chosen by the gods themselves to bear the legendary title of Chosen. This Chosen was known as the defender of the realms. The world would see many Chosens come from the family known as the Masons. Each one would become strong and defend their realm with honor against all of the hellish and dark forces until they met up with the devil incarnate herself, Eve. Single handedly and with no matter how many the chosen came with, she slain them and kept whatever she decided would be the better trophy for her victory. This would go on for ten long years until a noticeably more powerful chosen was handed responsibilities.
A young knight next in line to duties of the chosen took up its responsibilities without hesitation despite the protests to him that he was. Out of the originals this young man known as Granas was exceptional and noticeably stronger than the others. As he accepted the duties, he swore along with his friends who he picked earlier, Malkuz, Acedriloth, Xander, and Radnor, that they’d put an end to this pain and torment caused by that devil Eve. It wasn’t long after this that he met up with Lina Lyons who is apart of the Zeltennian Apprenticeship in Sorcery. The two quickly became an icon and they spent many days together, teaching each other what the other knows. They eventually forged and imbued a large sword with magic, mainly the powerful magic known as Holy. The sword was named the Phaerton and with that created, Granas proposed to Lina the following night the sword was named. She excepted and the two wed, having three children.
The three children were much like their father and mother, complete geniuses when it came to battling and fights. Cory Love, the elder son was an exceptional fighter who was skilled equally in both magic and battle arts. He received the most training out of the best in the kingdom. Quinn Mason, the daughter and second eldest was a superb magic user. It was thought that she rivaled her mothers ability. She was sent to the Zeltennian Kingdom to learn advance spells that she had been able to perform but not perfectly. Finally there was TJ Mason, the youngest in the group who had at first seemed to be normal. He had no interest in fighting or learning magic and was mostly the one who got taken care of mostly. Granas however decided to personally teach TJ how to handle himself, teaching him the basics of combat and battle arts. Even then TJ was still uninterested in what was going on but Granas knew that one day, TJ will become the new hope of this land.
The next few years became an absolute hell as Eve began to mount offensives on the upper world. Granas’ group and the Dreams Knights was doing most of the fighting then. Eventually after some years of fighting the Chosen’s group begin pushing back the underworld and has kept them contained inside the very hole they came from. On this final fateful day, Granas has given his goodbyes too his family before entering the underworld and attempting to slay Eve along with his team.
Not much was known after that, except some days later, the Kingdom of Dreams was found destroyed. Everyone assumed that it was just that the Chosen’s group had lost to Eve but that was not the case as well since adventurers looking for the hole found it open with the devil incarnate missing. Some years later the youngest son TJ would inherit the powers and responsibilities of the Chosen. Without much understanding why since his brother and sister were next in line, he accepted it without giving it too much thought and moved into the city of Ruthan alongside his cousin Tierre where he continues on his fathers legacy…
